The expression on Mako cosplayer is perfect! 

Just a note, I notice a big blur on the face of Ryuuko, was it intentional to put the focus only on Mako?

With all that light coming from the window you could increase the aperture and try to put her face more in focus, even at the cost of increasing the ISO. In the camera data on the bottom of this page there is not written the aperture but I presume was around F/4 and F/5.6

I understand, however, that it was difficult to make this shot, I give you anyway compliments for this :) you take beautiful pictures
