As you can see by my photos, connichi went well
I even got the replacement 12-24mm lens on friday morning before I left for the convention <3
Connichi was very stressful for me, mainly because of my bad time management.
I'll try to go a little more easy on things in the future. Being stressed out was really bad for the overall quality of my photos.
WCS was not bad. The overall quality of the skits was quite high (with some exceptions of course).
In my opinion the first place was highly deserved, second not so much, third was good but with some flaws.

Convention season is not officially over yet, there are still the Bookfair in Frankfurt, the Animaco in Berlin and the TiCon in Würzburg. I won't be going to Frankfurt though, last year was my first time there and I really didn't enjoy it at all. Bad Location, unfriendly staff and so on. There is also a rumor going on that they'll prohibit _all_ photography this year, so only one more reason for me not to got.
By the way, for those who only heard the rumors: I can confirm them. *
ChristophGerlach wrote an email to the people responsible and their answer was pretty clear: no photography allowed whatsoever.
Our only hope would be that the photography ban was always there and simply wasn't and won't be enforced in the future.

P.S.: The fifth part of my tutorial will have to wait for a while since the editing on my photos is pretty minimalistic and I don't want to upload a tutorial with maybe 5 lines of text.
So I'm gathering information, but that takes a while because I have to try it out myself before trying to teach it to someone. I'm really sorry and hope you'll understand.

Ich schätze mal, AniMaCo wird man sich wiedersehen und vielleicht ja auch noch TiCon.. finde ich lustig, dass sie jetzt schon so groß wirkt, dass soviele von etwas weiter weg anreisen o.o
Wegen TiCon kann ich dich ja bisschen informieren, wenn du fragen hast, bin da Helfer und komme recht leicht an alle neuen Informationen ran, je nachdem, wie es zeitlich für dich überhaupt stehen wird. Was studierst du eigentlich?
nur bisher ist die terminplanung halt leider nicht möglich gewesen.

ok, der letzte post ist da anfang august und noch total im unklaren.. also im Moment steht noch nichts wirklich fest, die große Planung - auch vom zeitlichen - dürfte aber in nächster Zeit mal stattfinden, dann erfährst du aufjedenfall noch Bescheid >.<
